Artistic genius, political activist, painter and decorator, mythic legend or notorious graffiti artist? Este artista genera controversia, por un lado el poder de sus imágenes es subversivo y pone de manifiesto la hipocresía y el lado oscuro de nuestra sociedad. Por otra parte, es criticado por otros activistas porque ha trabajado con multinacionales y sus obras se venden por cifras millonarias. A pesar de la polémica, la fuerza visual de la obra de Banksy es incontestable y ha revolucionado el arte urbano hasta tal punto de que casi en cualquier ciudad podemos ver plantillas inspiradas en él.
